David W. Martin

David W. Martin

Founder | Principal

David Martin is a strategic leader who brings more than 30 years of broad defense/aerospace experience and a consistent track record of delivering superior results. During this time. he has a provided strong, decisive leadership to strategically position businesses for long-term growth. David has served in various leadership/general management, business development/growth, and strategy roles at both major prime and middle market companies. His experience extends across multiple domains, products, technologies, and customer sets. He is adept at setting direction, operationalizing strategy, and catalyzing growth to exceed potential especially in complex, ambiguous, and change environments.

Most recently, David led Terma's $170M global Aeronautics business unit. He served as Terma Inc. (U.S. wholly owned subsidiary) corporate officer and board director. During his three-year tenure, he transformed the business across three axes - execution, growth, people and delivered robust financial results. David achieved record Terma corporate results including $212M order intake (2022) and $23.3M profit (2023). Under David's leadership, Terma received the 2023 Northrop Grumman Supplier Excellence Award - one of five companies worldwide.

David graduated from the United States Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science and earned an MBA at the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School.

He and his wife Frieda live in suburban Atlanta. They have four children and two grandchildren. David enjoys travel and being in the mountains as much as possible.
